About the role

Our Client is opening a brand-new Fresh Produce store in Mahikeng, North West and is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead their team.

Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, ordering, pricing
Hire, train, and supervise store staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization of store
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
Monitor and analyze sales trends, expenses, and performance metrics to make data-driven decisions
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality produce
Develop and execute marketing initiatives to promote the store and attract new customers
Stay current on industry trends and market conditions to inform business decisions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or related field would be beneficial
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the fresh produce industry
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of inventory management systems and retail sales strategies
Passion for fresh produce and commitment to providing exceptional customer service
