About the role
Our client in Sandton, a leading name in the South African FMCG industry, is looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to take their digital presence to the next level.
- Develop and execute engaging social media strategies and content calendars
- Manage content across relevant social media platforms
- Create compelling short-form video and multimedia content
- Drive engagement, brand awareness, reach and follower growth
- Build relationships with influencers, creators and brand advocates
- Identify trends and cultural moments to keep the brand relevant
- Analyse performance and optimise campaigns for maximum ROI/ROAS
- Build an engaged online community and strengthen brand loyalty
What they're looking for
- BCom Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies or equivalent
- 5+ years' experience in content creation, marketing or a similar role
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
- Experience with Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or video editing tools
- Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, TikTok Ads Manager or similar platforms
- Understanding of paid social media, social SEO, algorithms and digital funnels
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Creative, adaptable, proactive and results-driven
