About the role
An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated and personable Optometrist to join a reputable independent practice in Gaborone, Botswana. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, takes pride in providing quality clinical care and would love the experience of working in a different environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills together with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and be confident working with patients of all ages and backgrounds. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, enthusiastic and genuinely enjoys patient care. Experienced Optometrists are welcome to apply, while new graduates who are eager to learn and develop their skills are also encouraged to apply.
The practice offers a supportive environment and will assist with visa arrangements and the relevant professional board registration, making the transition to Botswana as smooth as possible.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, and Saturdays, 08:00 - 12:30.
