About the role
An enthusiastic and compassionate individual is needed to join a professional team to provide basic pre-hospital care and support patient care operations.
- Assist with responding to medical emergencies and providing basic pre-hospital care within the scope of your qualification.
- Perform initial patient assessments and provide basic life support when required.
- Assist with patient handling, stabilisation and transportation.
- Support senior EMS personnel during emergency call-outs and patient transfers.
- Ensure medical equipment and supplies are clean, checked and ready for use.
- Complete patient records and incident documentation accurately.
- Follow established emergency response procedures, safety protocols and professional standards.
- Treat patients and their families with compassion, dignity and respect.
What they're looking for
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) qualification or equivalent recognised entry-level EMS qualification.
- Appropriate and valid registration with the relevant professional body, where required for the position.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong teamwork, reliability and willingness to learn.
- A professional attitude and genuine passion for helping others.
