About the role
This is an opportunity for a technically exceptional Java engineer who wants more than just writing code. You will be exposed to working closely with senior technology leadership, contribute to architecture decisions and grow in a very technical space.
Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve complex Java-based systems and APIs.
- Contribute on the applicable level to technical decisions around architecture, scalability, and engineering standards.
- Work closely with developers to raise engineering practices and solve difficult problems.
- Build and research cloud-based solutions across modern technology environments.
- Research and introduce technologies that improve product capability.
- Support DevOps practices, deployments, testing, and production stability.
What they're looking for
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years hands-on Java development experience.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, architecture patterns, and system design.
- 1-3 years experience building scalable systems, APIs, and distributed applications.
- Cloud experience (AWS and/or Azure).
- Exposure to web technologies (Angular/TypeScript advantageous).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field required.
- Engineering degree highly preferred.
