About the role
Our client, based in Pretoria, is looking for an experienced specialist to support configuration needs and the design, development, and execution of initiatives within a central bank's transformation programme.
- Conduct analysis and design/architect quality IT solutions according to approved business requirements and in line with governance frameworks
- Lead the delivery of quality IT solutions through development, integration, testing and deployment according to the approved design specification and within agreed timelines
- Ensure total quality of an IT solution by contributing to the compilation of standards, improved process and by ensuring that the approved processes and standards are followed
- Consistently provide IT solution maintenance and support in the designated area thereby ensuring business continuity in line with the agreed service standards
- Manage change requirements and supporting specifications, provide the functional specification, and manage acceptance testing
- Investigate problems and propose solutions by interacting with users, developers and other stakeholders
- Configure complex business processes and tasks (where appropriate) within a system for improvement
- Provide input into the development of training manuals and training plans, and present training courses in support of new implementation
- Stay abreast of changes to tools and methodologies and advise the company on how to adhere to new practices

- Minimum of a Bachelors degree (NQF 7) in Computer Science or Information Management or similar
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in a business analysis environment, specifically in OpenText applications
