About the role
A BI Consultant responsible for designing dimensional data models and developing Power BI reports and SSAS models within the healthcare industry.
- Design dimensional data models (Kimball, star schemas, facts, dimensions, SCDs)
- Build and maintain SSAS models, including measures, hierarchies and security
- Write and tune complex SQL (stored procedures, views, CTEs, performance optimisation)
- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards (DAX, Power Query, row - level security)
- Translate business requirements into technical BI solutions
- Validate data and ensure reporting is accurate and auditable
- Document models, logic and designs, and support UAT and production issues
What they're looking for
- 5+ years’ experience as a BI Consultant / Developer
- Strong dimensional modelling experience (Kimball preferred)
- Advanced T - SQL / SQL Server
- Strong Power BI and SSAS experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
